Join us for a special day at Horse Guards Parade and The Guards Museum, on Saturday 30th May, 2026.  You'll see a full dress rehearsal for the 'Trooping of the Colour', as hundreds of Guardsmen and mounted Household Cavalry demonstrate months of intense preparation and hard work, all accompanied by the splendid music of the Household Division Bands.  The Major General Commanding the Household Division, Major General James Bowder OBE, will take the salute.

Once the parade ends at 12:30pm, make your way across St. James's Park to The Guards Museum.  Enjoy a complimentary welcome drink, followed by a quintessentially English afternoon tea with a seat at a beautifully laid table in the museum's Royal Gallery (with pay bar).  Afternoon tea includes a selection of dainty sandwiches, scones, and cakes, with complimentary tea or coffee.

You'll have the opportunity after lunch to delve into the 400-year history of the Guards, with a self-guided tour of the museum.

The day begins at Horse Guards at 9:30am, with afternoon tea served in The Guards Museum at approximately 1:15pm.  The museum closes at 3:15pm.
