Guards Officer Experience at The Guards Museum

Join us at The Guards Museum for a unique opportunity to hear from a retired Guards officer.  You’ll tour the museum out of hours, delving into the history of the Guards and hearing personal anecdotes of service and ceremony. 

Handle items from the collection, try on a genuine Guards uniform, and ask all these questions only a Guardsman can answer.  How long did it take to rehearse for Trooping the Colour?  How heavy was their kit?  What was life like in the army, and where were they posted?  How do Guards shine their boots?!

You will have their full attention during this unique, out of hours experience, and you’ll leave with a wealth of facts, stories and insights.

Includes a small group tour of the museum from an ex-Guards Officer, with champagne on arrival, object handling, the opportunity to try on a Guards uniform, and a Q & A session.
